Dr Ashish Aggarwal works as a senior researcher and faculty at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). He has more than15 years of experience in research and implementation of environment and development projects related to climate change, watershed, forestry, water resources, agriculture and rural development. He has worked with government, non-government (NGOs) and research organisations and has advised center and state governments on issues related to natural resource management. He was member of the drafting committee of National Mission for A Green India. He has a deep interest in policy and politics of natural resource management and climate change.
He has a PhD in climate change and development from University of Manchester, UK; an M.Phil in Environment and Development from Cambridge University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.
Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh
Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor at Department of Policy Studies, TERI University, New Delhi. He is a trained demographer whose work focuses on social determinants of health and survival, maternal and child health and gender. He teaches population and development, public health, epidemiology and health policy. He has been involved in the conceptualization, design and execution of research studies concerning the broad themes of strengthening health systems, service delivery models, maternal and child health, and public health nutrition. Dr. Singh did his PhD from IIPS, Mumbai and Post-doctorate from Max Plank Institute of Demographic Research, Germany. He is recently awarded Max Plank-India Mobility Fellowship from Max Plank Society, Germany. He has published several research articles, opinion pieces and commentaries in reputed national and international journals.
